Hi,
i know Harrington's book is almost here, but can anyone recommend a decent book (or even better.. and understandable website) that explains EV, folding equity, etc, to someone that really should have spent more attention listening at school, rather than fooling around!

I've already read Internet Texas Hold'em and Championship NL and PL Hold'em (Cloutier/McEvoy), and will def get harrington... but so far I've not found an entry level explanation of the concepts that are discussed in most of the decent postings on this forum.

It would be even better if any suggested book/website particularly focussed on Tourney play - as I've stopped playing cashgames.

Help!

Thanks,
Mart

Since the concepts you're wondering about aren't exclusive to tourney play, you should definitely get The Theory of Poker. Also Tournament Poker for Advanced Players. That combo should fit perfectly.
