Three early hands to chew on.

1) 2 off the button, you get As 9s. You call a couple of limpers, SB folds, BB is disconnected and folds. Flop comes
Td, Ks, 7d . Check check to you. You decide to take a stab (a) and bet the pot, one of the limpers cold-calls. Turn is 2s, check to you. You check (b). River brings the 7s, giving you nut flush but also pairing the board. Villian (same stack size as you) bets 45 into a 210 pot. Raise or call? Feedback on a/b appreciated as well.

b) QQ in the BB with 1700. UTG with 465 raises 5xBB to 100. Fairly new table but he hasn't done anything bizarre. Folded to you. Autopush?

c) AA in MP at 1520. Table has gotten very tight, so you decide to limp. No, not asking for feedback on that. :-) SB completes, BB at 1580 raises to 60. You make the mandatory (?) reraise to about 200, he calls.

Flop T87 2-suited (you don't match). Bet 500 (?), he smooth calls. Now, the turn comes Kd (completing the flush). Do you shut down completely? I tried a bet of 400 (out of my remaining 800), again flat-called. Ten comes on the river and villian goes all in (same stack size as me). Easy fold?

(I didn't... I'm out. :-( )

(No, he didn't have the flush or even the boat... he had...

Ouch. That hurts.
I tried limping w/ KK under gun.
3 called including blinds. Shtttt!
Raggy flop 468, check w/ intentions of CRsing.CO bets, button raises huge. I muck /images/graemlins/frown.gif, CO mucks. Never got to see.
But still alive at the 1st break w/1550 and ave is 1600.

Having some rough luck with rivers tonight. Maybe this time it'll be different. Had to chop a flopped straight when the river gave him a 1 card straight.

Modaddy-
1)I'd check behind on the flop (lots of cards that help you on the turn), check the turn and raise a couple of hundred on the river.

2)Autopush

3)I bet 300 on the flop and push the turn.

Figured I was up against a set.
Did not want to go broke cause I let the limpers play.
I will never know how good or bad a play it was on my part.

Frustration got the better of me. I have so far to go to learn to play this game properly. It seems every hand I played in this tournament I was raised from behind me. I went out of 2 earlier tournaments on some real bad luck and the frustration waas building. I got real lucky when making a re-raise with KTs against a button raise from the SB. I was down to 11oo and I pushed all in. BOth the BB and the button called and I saw 99 and AK. When an A and a T flopped it looked bad, but a Q and a J let me split the BB's money. Then I doubled after limping with AK (There was no SB) I was raised again, and I pushed. He called with QQ and I got lucky. I thought maybe my luck was turning. I made a raise with AK and got put al in by fellow poster fossilkid. He had AQ and spiked his Q. Down to the felt. I doubled with A4 against 22, then stole some blinds with A2. THen I doubled again with 77 against AQ and was back to a playable stack at 3200 (BB was 150).limped behind a limper with 22, got raised and folded. THen I raised with 88, got called and then an all-in for 4K from the BB, and I made the frustration call. He had JJ.

I can't seem to change gears after recovering froma bad beat. That call was plainly a result of the built up frustration from the night. If that hand happens early I muck without thinking. I need to make a rule that I won't push all-in or call all-in without at least taking all the time allotted to me to reason it out. I lightning called this one. YUCK.

I'm experiencing similar frustration, I've had one PP over 9s, and an ace with a kicker over 9 just 3 times. ATs once, and I bought the blinds, and then the aforementioned AQ that sucked out vs. David's big slick. Then I get AA UTG, limp in expecting some crazy raises, and get nothing, every1 folds to the BB and I win the blinds. I counted 9 hands in a row where some1 made a raise over 500 on my table, but of course when I limp in with AA, the action dries up. I've got 4122, but that is quite a bit under the average and my cards have been crap.

P.S. sorry about the suckout Ross.

Just incredible, I get QQ and run into KK, he makes quads and I go from 8k to 3k. Now it isn't even looking good for a money finish.

Wow, what I roller coaster ride. I just doubled up with KJ on AT. I'm sitting at 6600 with 95 left. Top 80 cash so I should make that, but I'm more interesting in building a stack than making $370 if I get a hand with 85 left.
