I want to change the default color of the card backs used when I open a new table at Party. Is there any way to do this?
1. I know how to change them at one table by clicking on the dealer.
2. I'm not discussing the 4-color deck. It's the other side of the cards I want to change.
Thanks in advance.

you can't change the default. at every table you'd have to change it manually.. however.. what you can do is go into the partypoker/images directory and rename the color you want it to be by default to the name the redback color has..
so name the color you want 6_smallcard1.bmp
might wanna back up the images directory b4 u try it tho

I find it helpful to have different color backs at different tables. You have to do it manually though.

I've never even considered doing this. Why do you like it?

That is what I did. I just prefer blue backed cards as opposed to red backed cards. *shrugs*

I only have a 1280 x 1024 resolution monitor so when I 4 table there is some overlap. I find it helps to diferrentiate between tables, although if I'm doing a lot of table hopping I usually forget to update the cardbacks. Try it sometime, maybe you'll like it, or maybe you'll eventually forget to keep updating it.

Thank you for the great tip on how to change the default color! /images/graemlins/smile.gif
I've been trying to find some way to do it through Party/Empire menus for some time now. Your method worked perfectly for me.
