I just recently made the jump from .5/1 to 1/2 to 1/2 6-max. I have a few thousand hands under my belt at 6-max and have noticed that the game is very different.

There is a lot more bluffing in this game, and I think most of the players I have encountered play pretty well postflop. It's harder to get those big pots and extra loose calls like in .5/1 full ring.

I wanted to hear about my passive play postflop on this hand. Is there any merit to playing it like this?
I figure I'm ahead and he's bluffing, or I'm dominated.

Should I have played aggressively because there was an extra caller, maybe try and push him out?

ok, on to the reads...
MP vpip 70% pfr 2.5%
SB vpip 67% pfr 16%

I think both are capable of pulling off the occasional bluff.

1/2 6 max at party isnt an aggressive game - maybe its more aggro than a ring game - i wouldnt know - but its not what any even handed sensible analysis could describe as aggressive

i find lots of guys playing hands the same way you played this one when i play this game

i raise pre-flop - i have a power hand because its not a drawing hand so i always raise - i'm sure limp is an ok thing - post flop i hit my hand so i raise - somewhere - not here for a haircut
