anybody been to tunica yet?

with the world poker open going on I was wondering if anybody had any early impressions of it. especially concerning satalite and super satalites. are they occouring, how often, and how much to enter? any info would be appreciated.

Today's $500 limit holdem event has 463 entries wow!


They are running a bunch of sats and supersats. Entry fees vary. Supersats are $120 plus $100 rebuys.

thanks! are they still trying to farm out the sats and super sats to the other casinos, I heard last year that they ran a lot of them over at the grand. or are they doing it exclusively at the gold strike and horseshoe now? also about how much live action did you see?

I attended the first two and will leave on Thursday to attend this years event. I belive that all of the sats that are recognized by the tourney are in the main ballroom. The other locations ran sats in which they provided the winner with the equivalent of a buy-in, but I do not think it was affiliated with the tourney. The other casinos also ran some nightly re-buy tourneys trying to cash in on the overflow and lack of middle limit availability at the tourney site.
