SB checks, Hero bets & calls a raise if necessary?

You've got 2nd pair, OESD, backdoor straight flush draw. Looking at the PF action, CO probably sitting on overcards of some variety... not too hard to see any two broadway cards there, but others are certainly possible.

UTG is the real question mark. I don't play 5/10, so I can't say what hands traditionally get limped there, but if the smaller limits are any guide, it could be suited trash (low limit fishies) to an absolute monster (AA/KK/AKs) that missed its PF L-R-R.

What was the game texture like? I guess if you had a read on UTG it would make this much easier... that said I like leading out 90% of the time, esp. if SB checks.

*Also, if SB leads out, is it worthwhile to raise him & try to isolate? Would you be comfortable playing it for a re-raise or even two more bets if that's how it came back around to you on the flop?*

Really depends on the action behind me after I check.

I pick up plenty of pots in spots like this. if SB has anything he'll bet. UTG probably has overcards or a pocket pair. if he has overs he'll probably fold. if he has a pair, he'll raise. if you get raised, no big deal, because you have outs. the only hand you'd hate to be up against is 88. and I'm not going to even start on the back door 1 card straight crub frush draw

If SB checks I bet out and take it from there.
A bet from SB sends my cards into the muck.

I fold too. The pot is small enough that you shouldn't feel bad letting it go.
