View Full Version : As a Party Poker player, what can I expect from EuroBet?

I'm thinking of switching to Eurobet to take part of a rakeback offer since I missed my chance for Party, Empire and PokerNow (ya, I'm an idiot).

Anyway, what can I expect from EuroBet in terms of cashout delays, tourneys, etc.? Since it's a Party skin, is it all the same?

Tournies: None unless you count Sit and Go
Cash out Delays same as party

Might be just me, but i've found the customer support to be quite crappy thus far.

sent off one email to them and their response was "please log into the system and send an email using E-Message"
They did not answer my questions or anything.

So, then from within the game I sent an email using their E-Message and NEVER received a reply.

Also, none of my auto-requested hand histories have ever showed up when using Eurobet.

Some annoying differences from the Party client:

* No option to save password (only username).

* Buggy cashier function: it opens up in a browser window, and quite often you will get an error message that your session has expires, and you have to log in again at their website. (When this happens, and you only want to see how much money you have, do a quick visit to a table instead, sit down and see your bankroll.)

* A very useful browser window [sarcasm] with their website is opened each time you exit the client.

But the rakeback should make it worth these quirks, I guess. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I like eurobet just as much as any other client. Support was great to me when I didn't put in a code for the deposit bonus, they stil credited it to me when I e-mailed them, telling them I hadn't seen the ad for it until after I had deposited. The one thing that is a little annoying is that you have to cashout through the sportsbook, which means you have to transfer money from your poker account to your sports account, and then into NETeller. It definitely isn't bad enough to make me switch though.

Is it a trustworthy site? Any complaints on the security?

"* No option to save password (only username)."

I don't think this is a bad thing. It might be a minor inconvenience but you should consider using something like PasswordSafe instead. What if your PC is stolen or compromised (Especially if you use a laptop)? I really despise those "remember me" boxes for anything other then message boards. Considering how little sites have done in the past to track down missing funds.

Perhaps I am paranoid? Alas.

You don't need to be concerned about security anymore than you would for party. It is the same tables, same software. I've played on the site for whoring purposes, did not experience any cashout problems.

Both the carpet and the table felt are blue.

Also Coral are a big UK highstreet bookmaker so your money should be safe, assumimg of course you trust bookmakers.

It will also steal an open browser window (at least with IE) which is really $@^%@%*^ annoying.

I also use IE and that has never happened to me. I think there is a setting somewhere in Windows, telling if shortcuts should be opened in existing or new browser windows. Perhaps this is the case here? Right now I can't remember where that setting is though. Will think harder and come back if I'm successful. Anyone else know?

This one threw me off as well... But I finally figured it out. Once you login, go to the 'Sports' tab and select 'Messages'

Emails from support and hand histories will not go to your email address, they will go here, in the message center. It's easier to set up PokerTracker to get the HH's from your hard-drive.

You have to send your money to the sports book first and then to neteller? What about US players who can't use the sports book...is this an issue?

It does that to me too. Party does the same thing, though, when they send you a message about their network speed, and I know I've seen them do that for something else, too.

That's one reason why on my new machine, even though Firefox is what I use to surf, when I got MSN, I left the MSN shell as my default browser. That way, my open windows in Firefox don't get messed up whenever Party and skins send me a message.

No, you are not allowed to make sports bets but you can still transfer the money to the poker room.

Is it safe to use the same registration/personal info I used for the other skins?

I did this for PokerNOW, to claim the bonus, but I knew I'd never play this for a long period of time. But now, I don't want to give them an excuse to freeze my account due to multiple usernames since I plan to play at EuroBet regularly.

They won't freeze your account but you may have trouble setting it up on your computer. Check your PMs.

Is this really the case? I'm looking into opening another account to the Party tables but when I asked Eurobet if I was allowed to open an account while I have one at Party they replied:

We share the poker software with other sites such as empire poker.
Following anti collusion regulations, you will need to close your account with them before opening an account in Eurobet Poker.

Multipoker gave pretty much the same response. At the same time, according to the information on Bonuswhores, I am allowed to have accounts at Party, Intertops, PokerNow and Empire. Why the #!&# can't they decide what is allowed and what is not and make it clear and obvious for everyone? /images/graemlins/mad.gif

You can configure Firefox to open the page in a new window or a new tab. It's in the Advanced options.

The best thing to do is just open it on a new computer. The "regulation" is full of sound and fury signifying nothing.

This should be in the FAQs at the top of the forum. I'm too lazy to check so I'll just tell you:

Officially, you are not supposed to have an open account at more than one of the Party skins. To help enforce this official position, the skin you first sign up with will place a code in a "hidden" location on your computer that, unless removed, will prevent you opening an account on another skin with that particular computer.

Unofficially, everybody "in the know" has accounts on all the party skins in order to take advantage of bonuses, rakeback, etc. It would be impossible for the skins not to know that we are doing this since all funding is handled through a central cashier system and I (for one) use the same personal information, same email address, and same neteller account for all of them.

If you have 5 friends who have never played poker and have no intention of doing so, you can open yourself a new account at each skin on each computer. Once the eccounts are open, you can play them all from your computer.

An alternative is to remove the UCIB code (that's the one they hide on your computer) after each account opening; and sign up for all of them on one computer (that's what I did).

Do a search on here under "regedit" and you will find directions for removing the UCIB code.

It seems intimidating at first, but it's actually quite simple and easy, and opens the way for you to make much more $. So do it! Good luck!
