I just couldn't see any point in this hand at which I could either bet or raise for value, or any other reason. I also couldn't see a place where I could fold. Anyone hit this harder or get out at any point?

Fewer than 20 hands from each villain, so not much in the way of reads, especially post-flop. In the 19 hands I've seen for him, MP1 has seen the flop in 18. BB doesn't appear to be particularly loose or a wild pre-flop raiser.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 2 folds, Hero completes, BB raises, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (8 SB) A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (4 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.50 BB) T/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP1 bets, Hero calls, BB folds.

River: (7.50 BB) 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.50 BB

I think I would fold the flop.

I play it the same way. You'll out-flush him enough to be profitable here. Get to a showdown as cheaply as possible.

But it's likely you have the BB either outpaired (probably not but then it appears you did) or outflushdrawed and MP1 could have a lot of hands given that he's seen 18/19 flops and you're getting 10:1. I would not fold this flop.

I would have bet the river though.

What do you do if raised on the river?

Lose.

But I'd call anyway against an unknown because I am consistently shocked at the hands that sometimes raise me on the river and you're getting 9.5:1.

its fine until the river where I'd bet for value and call a raise.

If you disregard the turn action, I cannot believe you think you *likely* have the BB out paired. IMO, you are most likely behind and drawing to either an 8, or to a flush with 8 kicker. HU, I agree that continuing is fine, but throw in the MP1 caller (who admittedly can have anyting), and I am not liking my draw so much.
