AK in WSOP Qualifier Tourney

Here's a good one for you % players. In a recent live tourney I caught AK off suited or suited 5 times. Of those 5 times, I saw the flop 4 times. The flop never paired. Of those 5 hands, I saw the the river once. I never paired. It was actually the hand that busted me out. Only show down I lost all night. The only time I won with AK was all folded pre-flop.

Anyone ever had similiar experiences?

It only hits the flop a little less then 1 for every 3 times...0 for 4 is not that uncommon at all.

I had the opposite experience. One tourney I played I got AK 6 times in the first 2 levels and won with all 6 of them.
