What do you think of this?

http://www.warnerreprise.com/asx/linkinparkandjay-z_numb-encore-video_300-v.asx

it reminds me a little of that Anthrax/Public Enemy "Bring the Noise"

I love that Jay-Z performs w/ live bands, a la the Roots, but i think this is just a bit synthesizer-heavy for it to be as cool as it *could've* been...?

opinions please?

I actually think its a pretty cool mix. I like Linkin Park, and I like Jay-Z for the most part. Plus, I think its some of thebest stuff when artists from two different types of music work together.

Now, as far as Kenny Chesney's future collaboration with Ashanti...we'll leave the jury out on that one. Tim McGraw's song with Nelly is pretty decent, too, IMO.

I didn't open this, but I saw the special on MTV the other week. I loved it. I like Jay-Z, but actually never liked Linkin Park, but this mix I thought was very cool.

okay, I have been catching bits and pieces of this on MTV, I change my stance. The "99 Problems/ 1 Step Closer" mix was [censored] awesome.

I was watching it on and I was compeled to turn my receiver way up and head bang/air guitar/rap for a little while. Good stuff, I would def download an album if there was one of it.

I know that there is an album, I'm not sure if it's out yet or not.

Upon further review, the album is called "Collision Course" and it was realeased 11/30.

I might check it out. Is it a live CD or studio stuff?

I'm not sure, it looks like its a cd/dvd combo so maybe it's both, kinda like the MTV special was. Amazon Link (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00069A6P4/qid=1102005553/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl15/103-0698624-7464612?v=glance&s=music&n=507846)

its an actual studio recorded cd with a dvd packaged with it. i personally liked it a good amount, especially the encore, 99 problems, and dirt off your shoulder tracks.
