A few friends and I will be travelling down to New York from Toronto, Ontario next year to mark the birthday of two of my friends. I need a bit of clarification on the gambling age in New York. I know Turning Stone is 18 to gamble, but are all casinos in New York 18? Is it just New York state, or is New York City included?

The Akwesasne Mohawk Casino, has anyone been here? Is this 18 also? If someone could clarify this for me, it would be a great help. 18+ in all of NY, or just certain parts? If so, which casinos are 18+?

well seneca niagara serves drinks so that has to be 21. there are no casinos in NYC so that is not an issue. the only 2 other ones i know about are up in lake placid area and down in salamanca south of buffalo...where in NY are you going? it is a big state.

I've been to the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino and it is also 18. Not sure if it's worth the time though, I'd rather spend all my time at Turning Stone. You don't even get carded there, I saw a bunch of kids that looked at most 16 years old roaming around and playing some poker.

Ahaha. Thanks guys.

I'm not sure, I have no idea how big or what New York is/where anything is. Care to educate me?
