Four players on the river? A pair on the flop? A flush that appears on the river? Just bet out on the river. You can't really hope for more than one caller here. Checking may win you zero bets. Check-raising may still only win you one bet.

Bet and hope for at least one caller. If you get raised...at least you didn't get re-raised after you check-raised. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
