You're stuck to the hand. Nice turn raise, but you you have to back down and hope to fill up. No way you can fold this. Looks good.

Am I the only one not enamored with the turn raise? BB capped the flop and leads the turn. That Ace is about as scary a turn card as it gets for you. I'd go into call-down mode.

Weak?

sorry about that.

The Ace on the turn did not deter the BB from betting out. Considering the BB to be reasonable I lean toward just calling and saving a bet or two if I am drawing thin.

*You might get a better answer to your question if you stopped the action on the turn at your raise.*

Why is the A a scare card at all? There was no pfr so it's not like he's still betting into the PFR when an A hits. If you were the BB with J3/Q3/QJ would you be scared of the A?

Good point. But a lot of players I play against don't raise AQo or (especially) AJo preflop. BB is capping and leading with *something*. Feels like a set of 3's to me or OESD, but the ace definitely isn't a safe card. In fact, next to a heart, it's the worst card I can imagine seeing. OESD just got there, backdoor flush opens up...

I just don't think BB is capping/leading here with J3.

I've been wrong before though.

*shrug*

I agree a set of 3's is likely - but how can you say the BB will cap the flop with an OESD but not J3? Seems like if he's doing one, he's doing both.
