Called support and they state that firepay is a 3rd party service that works like a check (ala citadel) and requires 7-9 day for me to have access to funds at interpoker... ( I can of course play immediately at intercasino which they state every 12 seconds when on the phone.

Is this just them or is it a change in the way firepay is operating?

Haven't made deposit with firepay in a few months... have things changed this much? Or is this just a symptom of a pokersite run by an onlinecasino.

Posted correspondance just for kicks. My response to support's email (attached to the end of my email). Support makes false referrences to their own website (or I am misreading it -please correct me if that is the case. Website and cashier section of software both (using the exact same words) state that a firepay deposit is immediate at interpoker.

Interpoker support,
Firepay is not a 3rd party service. I have already recieved confirmation that ecash has already received funds from my firepay account. The delay is an obvious attempt to get a poker player to play your casino games.
Yours is the only pokersite that holds firepay deposits for a "clearance period". Your website and software both state that firepay deposits are processed immediately. This is the case with every other online pokersite. It's bad for your business to try to run your pokersite like an online casino.
Consistant players that at break even or winkeep games populated and generate more rake revenues than a one time dopisit/ loss at your casino site. Delaying a transaction's availability to try to cause a pokerplayer to play casino games is bad business and will only cause regular players to go elsewhere. There are planty of online pokersites with excellent, honest service who will continue to receive my business.
In the below email, support staff referred me to the 4th paragraph "deposit limits" of the firepay page so I could see reference to a hold on firepay deposits. Below is that entire paragraph:

"Deposit Limits

ECash Direct permits one FirePay Personal account per ECash Direct account. A friendly reminder that your ECash Direct email address and your FirePay email address must match - if they don't, FirePay will reject the transaction.

It is important to note that:

1. The most recent matching ECash Direct and FirePay Personal account email address will be used to process future withdrawals;

2. The FirePay Personal account # must be used for future deposit and withdrawals; and

3. The process of using the email address for withdrawals will change in the near future. FirePay is working towards supporting FirePay Personal Account #'s for withdrawals. When this happens, the FirePay Personal Account # used to deposit will be used for withdrawals.

Deposits are restricted with (1) a minimum deposit amount per transaction and (2) a maximum deposit amount per transaction. However, FirePay funds must be cleared before they can be transferred or withdrawn from your ECash Direct account.

See the Transaction Terms and Conditions on the ECash Direct-FirePay deposit page for exact FirePay deposit limit amounts. "

I'd like to know where in the above paragraph is there information about a 7-9 day clearance delay for firepay deposits?
No such reference exists.
The paragraph just above that states that:

"How do I use FirePay?

To deposit funds to your ECash Direct account simply follow these steps:

1. Click the CASHIER button

2. Click DEPOSIT

3. Select FirePay as the desired deposit method

4. Click DEPOSIT NOW

5. Enter the amount you wish to deposit and your FirePay Personal account information.(NOTE: This FirePay Personal Account will be used for all future deposits and withdrawals. Also, please ensure the email address you have registered with ECash Direct and FirePay match. If they don't match, FirePay will reject the transaction.)

6. Click PROCEED

7. ECash Direct will process your request immediately"

That was copied directly from your website. Please notice line 7.
I would appreciate immediate access to funds in my account that you have already received. This would open the possibility of my conducting further business with your company.

Regards -aaron

i only read the first paragraph.

the answer is no, its not firepays fault. firepays still just as good if not better as when i first signed up with them.

its just that interpokers system sucks. it requieres like 10 BUSINESS days for the money to clear.

every single other site has instantanoues firepay deposits.

I think they are just trying to push pokerplayers to their casino site. They are very clear that my funds are available at intercasino. Firepay, of course, already sent verification of the completed transaction.
