Ask your friend how often AA holds up in a 8-way pot and then ask him whether he would 3-bet AA here on the button with that many callers.

Lots of bad players don't.

I would three bet it generally as well, but I dont think it is as clear cut as you guys are making it out to be. If you 3 bet, you are looking at a 4 way pot, which is tough for jacks to hold up. On Party, if you reraise and UTG caps it, are you going to lay down on a low flop? I see the point of getting the money in when you are usually 50/50 with UTG and everyone else is way behind, but you can sometimes extract more profit when you catch a good(low or J) flop, if you have just CC'd. Any thoughts on this? Everyone 3 bet AK(suited or not) on the button here as well?

No im going for a raise it as most players can cap AK as well as high pairs.

I would 3-bet.

Not 3-betting JJ or AKo here would be a pretty serious mistake. Not 3-betting AKs here would be a crime against humanity.

Is the auto 3 bet concensus the result of accumualted PT stats showing it as +EV? A couple of years ago I would think that "just call but once in a while 3 bet to mix things up" would have been the mantra.

this is why I hold the Raise Any button with JJ. Takes away the confusion
