Never lost a g-stack playing poker. The answer is, however long it took my mechanic to figure out I needed a valve job.

Somewhere under 20 minutes, but I'm not sure exactly how long the fastest has been. I've dropped $2500 in the first 45 minutes of a session before, so that means I've dropped $1k in under 22 minutes for sure.

PS. Don't ask The Dude; he might get cranky. His answer would/should be, "The same amount of time it took GoT to score 10 points on me in foosball." /images/graemlins/grin.gif

nanoseconds!

I've flipped coins for amounts excess of 1k, nothing like pure gambling to get the blood pumping.

At poker probably under 10 minutes 4 tabling.

During college I lost $7,000 in under 20 minutes at craps.

Have never lost that much in a session, I'm still at 2/4 and 3/6. I am, however, looking forward to it.

UB 5/10 1000 max buy in.

i buy in for the max and post in the CO and get delt AA on my vary first hand. There was a 3 way all in preflop. AA vs. KK vs 88 and 88 takes down the pot. That probably took a minute.

And this is only one example...

I also got booty rammed for a G on a 5/10 NL table on UB on the first hand, flopped J high spade flush with straight flush draw, guy bet the pot I moved in he called with As and another spade came. The whole thing took under 30 seconds. Thank you drive through.

When my car's transmission asploded two years ago, I could hear the money draining out of my bank account.

2 minutes. 4-handed 40/80. Get AA against maniac and I play the hand badly by putting in 6BB postflop with the second best hand. Then a minute later flopping top two on AT8 flop against maniac's 88.

I learned the hard way that gambling on foosball with any european or brit over the age of 4 is a bad bet. they even have tournaments over there.

Probably right after I said the words "will you marry me", and my wife said "yes".

Well, i've done $7700 in about 45 seconds(one hand), so that likely ranks high.

Spread limit, 20-200. Posted behind the button, got AJ. Flop came AA3. Turn 4. River 2. Lost to A5. Actually, I lost more than 1000, so it was a fraction of 1 hand.

It's a shame you live in Parts Unknown, because I would certainly take you up on that.

Let me know if you're ever in London. (No, I don't have enough money to make it worth your while to come here to play me, and even if I did it wouldn't be worth your while because you would not win.)

At poker, seconds. Anyone that plays at least 5-10 nl or 100-200 limit must have as well.

Modify the question -- what's the stupidest way you've lost a grand?

The funny thing here is that every word of your post is true.

You think I would offer to play someone foosball for thousands if I didn't know about foosball tournaments? Please.

Some place on Clement has sweet foosball tables. Knowing nothing of your foosball prowess but taken aback by your display of confidence, I will still lay some nice odds that you can't skunk me. And of course there's no spinning, we're not kids here.

I'm not a spinner myself, but I don't see why you'd want to stop someone from using a bad strategy.
