action on holidays

with thanksgiving next week is the action usually dead? or is it juicier with most having time off and just relaxing with a little drink etc and settling in for some poker? any comments or experiences with holiday times in general would be appreciated.

Last Thanksgiving was when I started playing and the action was VERY good.

I think, on a lot of holidays, the best times are the downtimes.

eg, a lot of people just skive off the friday after Thanksgiving maybe. That's when they've got time to kill, so friday miught be better.
On the day itself people have better things to do than play internet poker - unless they're in teh den hiding from the kids/cousins ...etc.

Just play all the days around holidays - you can't really go wrong.
