I wasn't on your table. They just had a little "congrats" message that popped up in the chat box while I was playing, which mentioned the players on the table for that hand, and how much they won.

Sure there is. In the upper right hand of the screen it says This hand: followed by the hand number and Last hand: followed by the hand number. When I heard of the promotion I thought to myself that if I saw a bonus hand number up there one on of my tables I would ram and jam the pot to no end. However, after about 8 or 9 hours of multi-tabling it's hard to check it every hand. So, no I did not know it was the bonus hand or even that I won the $500 until about 4 or 5 hands later.
