New at table (Party 2/4, full) Just starting 2nd orbit so no reads.
In CO with 77. 3 limpers to me, and I limp. Button folds and SB complets, BB checks. 6 to the flop.
Flop (6 SB): 7 /images/graemlins/heart.gif J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 5 /images/graemlins/club.gif
Nice! SB bets, only MP calls and I just call.
Turn (4.5 BB): Q /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
SB bets, MP calls, I raise. They both call. Seems pretty standard.
River: (10.5 BB): T /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Check, check, I bet...SB now check-raises. MP folds. I think and call.
Who makes an argument for 3-betting? The river makes a backdoor straight and flush. I put him on a straight (with 89, which would be a double-gutshot on the flop)or 2-pair with a T.
A worse hand would call or even cap. However a better hand obviously caps.
