As a side note: down to the last 11 guys in my $100.00 buy-in last man standing NFL pool.

1,250 entries, take a team each week to win straight up, only take each team once.

This week I had Minny. 2 weeks ago Baltimore (over Cle), I also had GB over Minny last week... that's 3 weeks of cardiac arrests in the final minutes of play.

Last man standing wins $100,000.00

Next week's lock... Denver over Oakland.

Obviously, the guy running the contest is making $25,000 just to administer... not a bad deal for 11-14 weeks work.

Ahhh... no tip required.

Oh yes... there is.

$100,000 for 1st.
2nd place gets a hand-shake.
3rd place gets nothing.

$25k to run a pool that small is ridiculous.

I'm part of a $100, 4,500+ person suicide pool - the guy who runs the pool gets tipped $15k MAX every year (never less than 10K) - he's taking way too much of your money

BUT, if you're still alive, best of luck, 100k aint no bullhish... /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well... I'm guessing he takes $25k since that's the difference between the prize money and what he could collect for 1250 entries.

However... with every 10 tickets bought, an eleventh is free. So it could be less... but still well over 20k from the looks of it.
