I rarely ever shake my head in disbelief anymore....but when you have KK and 34 offsuit calles your large preflop raise and large flop bet when the flop was J93..and ends up winning the hand...well my head is shaking.

How did you guys go about getting Empire accounts? They wont let me sign up because I'm already a player on partypoker.

every starting hand missed and when I caught my miracle card on the final hand, it made someone else better.

Oh well, the streak had to end sooner or later, tho it has been a terrible week of MTTs for me.

Hopefully next will be better.

How did you guys go about getting Empire accounts? They wont let me sign up because I'm already a player on partypoker.

Use another computer to sign up for Empire. Once you sign up you can download the software to your main computer and login and play without any trouble.

Out, AQ lost to A2 that flopped two pair. (I raised pre-flop, flop was A23)

back down to 2465. was in against 2 short stacks with 55 vs AQ and then KQ vs AJ, and lost them both, they both had around 500 chips, i was in bb with KQ when AJ moved in

AA and KK back to back and im up to 4100, a big stack took a lot of time against my KK but then laid down preflop after he called a shortstacks all in of 500

Down to 2700. Hit two pair and got it all in on the turn. Called by AA and when the board paired lower than my two pair on the river, I'm down to 2700.

All is right in the world. I limp with presto. 5 see the flop of 45K. I check, AA guy from before bets 150, 3 callers, I raise to 500. 2 callers. Turn is a 9. I push. AA guy calls with......AA. Other guy folds, and the river doesnt save our little slowplayer. Back up to 6500.

That sucked. 7th place. Go out with TT vs AK, a K fell on flop. If I win that hand I move into 3rd. I almost mucked it actually, but then thought he could very easily have a lower pocket pair, and felt getting TT vs AK wasnt too bad, since it is 56% or whatever. Who knows if I was going to get a better chance. So close though

If you win the hand you are pretty much in a tie for 3rd in chips.

You can try to hang on and see if others knock themselves out and maybe you can climb to 6th or 5th.....but I think the push with TT and hoping you're up against overcards (and not an over-pair) is reasonable here.

Yeah definately looking for the win, but 7th isnt too bad, I'm just glad I didnt get called while there was still 10 left when I pushed with ATs. I probably had AA or KK while I was disconnected those 2 times, frickin insight, they might get a phone call tomorrow.

Seriously, I couldn't believe that hand. How could someone that ignorant of concepts like pot odds and pot commitment get that far in a tournament?

I have no clue what hand mise held. It doesn't really matter what hand mise held. Any hand worth 80% of your chips preflop is worth the other 20% almost no matter what flops.

that guy was pretty crazy, I cant believe he lasted that long. He was all in with JT vs 99, after he called the huge reraise, the other guy flopped a set, but he rivered the nut strait. This was with like 20 left.

btw, i was just going back through my tourney on PT and I didnt have AT when I pushed wtih 10 left, I had those dreaded pocket 10s. not sure where I pulled the AT from, cuz I'm not seeing that hand anywhere.
