The fact that a game against the dophins was so close is so sad. Sigh. I had such high hopes before the reason...

We looked ugly today. Ugly and stupid. Thankfully the 'Fins are uglier and stupider.

One thing you can be assured of right now. There is no such thing as a bandwagon 'Hawks fan.

www.seahawks.net. (http://www.seahawks.net.) Love that site.

What's wrong in Seatle?

A lot of things:

- Hasselbeck isn't healthy, and hasn't been able to practice at full speed, so he's not on the same page as his receivers.
- Koren Robinson is out, and although he has some bad moments, he's clearly better than an aging Jerry Rice.
- Anthony Simmons being out for the season is a huge blow to the defense. Chad Brown is not 100%, and the rest of the linebacking corps is nothing special really.

And bottom line, the AFC is way better than the NFC this season. I liked the Sports Guy's comment on the Bills/Hawks game this past Friday, basically saying who's to say that a 4-6 Bills team in the AFC is really worse than the Hawks division leading team in the NFC? I guess we're finding out.

"What's wrong in Seattle?"

They just aren't a very good football team. Every year they are the "wise guy" pick to do well and every year they suck. In short, what's wrong with Seattle is that they are freaking Seattle.

I think you may be right Clark.

They probably should have started Dilfer, because Hasselbeck looks horrible.

this game is uglier than Randy Johnson, damn.

YOu want to know the hight of Seattle football? Before last year it was when Tony Zendejas kicked a 60 yard field goal to knock them out of the first round of the playoffs in 86 (?). Years could be off a little, Houston became really good after that, the Seachickens went back to being the seachickens. They made such great picks as "The BOZ", and some QB named Miller. Frankly you would think they were breaking out when they hired Holmgren, but alas no. They assembled a nice stockpile of talent but they are still just SeaChickens.

I have to say that I was very surprised my Bills managed to show up. This game actually makes them look like the team I thought they would be from the start. Too bad they're still 5-6 and in the AFC.

Oh my, don't even get me started. My first trip to the new stadium and we lose by 30 to the freakin' Bills!!!! Depressing.

Slavic,

The height of Seattle football is UW '91. The Seahawks are a long way from ever doing anything better than what the Huskies did.

I would argue that the height of Seattle football is UW 2004. (But then again, that's what you'd expect from a Coug, isn't it?)

Considering Clark is one of the Illini. I doubt he would consider Husky anything all that important.

Oh and Clark, can I just say the Illini got the best deal ever when they sent Johnny Mack to Texas. What did you get in the deal? A box of lightbulbs, and a bullpen catcher? You guys came out way on the plus side of that one.

I have a simple question. Seattle has the league's leading rusher in Shaun Alexander. They have arguably the best left side OL in football with Jones and Hutchinson. WHY do they continue to run over Chris Gray instead of Hutch or Jones? WHY DID THEY KICK A FG on 4 and 1 instead of running over Jones/Hutch? WHY CAN'T ANYONE ON THE TEAM CATCH THE [censored] FOOTBALL????????????

I think I just gave myself an aneurysm. At least the Sonics don't suck. Yet.

well they certainly didn't help themselves and who knows what would've happened if the officials got it right... but Dallas got 7 points they didn't deserve in a situation where there is NO EXCUSE for not reviewing the play.
