Button is loose and passive, plays more than half his hands. Not very aggressive either before or after the flop.

I open raise in CO with Q /images/graemlins/club.gif 9 /images/graemlins/club.gif, button calls and the blinds fold.

Flop: T /images/graemlins/heart.gif 9 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 6 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

I bet, button calls.

Turn: Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif

I check, button bets, I raise, button calls.

River: K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

I bet, button calls.

I'm not running so good at the moment and am starting to question myself when it comes to open-raising with less than stellar hands. Should I open-raise Q9s from the CO against a loose passive button? How about the flop bet? Is the river bet too much?

Preflop: standard stealing hand

Flop: good

Turn: lead, call down if raised.

River: easy value bet if you aren't calling down from turn raise.
