I posted this question last week, I thought I would do a poll this week. I still think the BCS sucks, and we need a playoff system.

Why no love for Utah? We need a playoff system so that any team that goes undefeated gets a chance.

Maybe next year Utah should try a little harder to schedule some tough non-conference games. Playing one so-so big 12 team isn't good enough.

Have any of you EVER met ANYONE who likes the BCS and Bowl System? Cuase I haven't, which begs the question, why the [censored] is it still around?

Ya ya ya, i know its about the money, but as fans why don't we use our power and just boycott some bowls. Problem solved.

If this is "as of now", Auburn vs Oklahoma is a joke, and I can't see how it has any votes at all. I don't like USC at all, but they're the best team in the country without a doubt.

USC/Auburn or USC/Oklahoma, think it's pretty close.

Looking at the non-conference schedules, Utah's is probably tougher than the the top 3. Utah's problem is that it's conference sucks.

I was watching rome is buring the other night on ESPN and he said something to the like of "I know that somebody is gonna get screwed, I don't care who it is, I just want the system to fail again"

Ah the truth made me crack up. I hope somebody gets screwed this year as well as I love the controversy.

The problem is that there is doubt. Without a playoff system there will always be doubt, especially when multiple teams from good conferences go undefeated. And if once in a blue moon a team from a mid-major conference actually is the best team in the country, we will never know because they will never be given the opportunity to prove it. We need a football equivalent to March Madness.

There is only one football game a year that matters and Ohio State won it on Sat.

The Big Ten is really poor this year.

So if we have the equivalent of March Madness for football does that mean everyone will stop caring about the regular season, just like they do with basketball?

Problem being is that USC is at #1 by virue of inertia, rather than merit, imo. I think that Auburn may lose in the SEC title game eliminating any problems, though.
