I recently got TPFAP from PStars with FPPs. It came signed by David Sklansky with an inscription that I can't read at all. So check out the picture below and take your best guesses as to what DS is saying, maybe he can shed some light on this himself.

I figured we get at least 10 "joke" answers before the real answer. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I gave it half an hour. Nothing was forthcoming.

And beneath that, it says "I'll let others elaborate".

I think "Best Poker Wishes" is possible.

I don't know, but I see the Virgin Mary in the watermark

I think it says "Bat fall," and then there is a little drawing of the dramatic event /images/graemlins/shocked.gif before the excamation mark.

Best Party Ever?

Best Pals Ever? Best Pals Star? Best Pals Still?

Watch out, it may be one of those things where when you say it out loud, you awaken ancient demons or something.

I have a similar inscription in my book and it appears to say "Beat Poker Stars." I think.

That seemed the most logical thing and what I instantly thought of, but the writing seems so unlike that...I would bet that's what it is, but if so, Sklansky was definitely on auto-pilot when he signed it. There's almost nothing in those three scribbles that looks like anything in those words -- or any other words.

Oh well, if the guy ever wins the World Series of Poker, he can tell Sklansky one day that his message inspired him to greatness -- Bear Pol Nlon.
