I recently moved to Vegas from Chicago. I am a serious poker player but would like to do some sports betting as a hobby. Can someone give me some advice, and some good picks for Sunday's NFL games?

dont know if it's THE big play, but i put a bunch on it at 2.5 earlier in the week, and will probably hit it for 3 tomorrow at some point...probably one of the only games i really like tomorrow

i am far from an expert in sports betting. i just started tinkering with football games this year. but i found this week to be the easiest of them all. pats only a 4 point favorite over the chiefs who are missing priest holmes? pshaw!

Just some things to consider...Derrick Blaylock put up 186 yards rushing last week, and has 350 yards and 5 TD's this year as Priest Holmes backup - this game is also being played in KC, one of the toughest places to play in the NFL, before a national audience. KC has averaged about 30 points a game in its last four, and is facing a New England defense that is banged up. I RARELY bet against a home dog on Monday night (except for last week's layup with the Eagles). Be careful and good luck...

Actually, I like the Giants in this spot. Sometimes any kind of change inspires a team. Plus you've got the Manning pedigree. And the Falcons have yet to really impress me, a pretty soft schedule so far.
