This morning I was listening to ESPN Radio and the guest on Mike & Mike was Peter Gammons. It was really weird. He went out of his way to turn the conversation from a discussion of Wally Backman's coaching career to talking about Ted Kennedy. I guess that's just the danger of letting sports guys discuss politics, but he made this really stupid comment.
[ QUOTE ]
Teddy Kennedy has "enacted" more legislation than any senator in U.S. history. He is therefore the greatest senator in U.S. history, arguably."
[/ QUOTE ]
Now I assume he meant introduced, not enacted. Regardless of that, Gammons seems to think what makes a senator great is the sheer volume of legal harrassment he can shove down our throats?
