Calling a raise in BB

I was in a tournament in the BB with 10/8 os. A player in early postion made a raise double the big blind. I called and landed two pair on the flop. (Flop was Q 10 8 mixed suits) After a bet on the flop the original raiser moved all in. I felt certain I had the best hand and called. He had an A 10 and landed an A on the river knocking me out of the tournament. Was i correct in even calling the raise?

UH against one opponent almost certainly not.....suited i like that hand a fair bit more but still you need a bigger field too make seeing a flop wprth it here.
