NL Hold'em $5 Buy-in + $0.50 Entry Fee Blinds(100/200)

Total number of players : 3

I had t4300 from the SB, BB had t6000, Button had t2200.

SB (t4300)
BB (t6000)
Button (t2200)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q/images/graemlins/club.gif 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
Button folds, Hero raises to t600, BB calls.

Flop: (t1200) 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 2/images/graemlins/club.gif, 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
Hero bets t1200, BB raises to t2900, Hero...


Easy laydown here or tough call/reraise? I put the BB on either an overpair or an Ax semibluff.

Was my bet out on the flop too large? Would a smaller wager have been just as effective vs. a pot sized one?

next time throw the Q4o away. it's not worth it at this blind level to play hands like that. i would also, if you feel you must play it, check the flop when the BB calls 600 cold prefolp. he's go the big stack and there's no reason to mess w/ him unless you've really got something.

PF - Fine you tried to steal and got caught. Looks ok to me.
FLOP - At $5 you HAVE to know you're going to get some serious action on this flop, either from an overpair or an idiot with a lone ace drawing to the 5. I check/fold without thinking twice.
