Mohegan Sun tournaments

Hi all,


I am going to Foxwoods next weekend and I might be going to the Mohegan Sun for their friday night Omaha8 tournament. I was hoping for a supersatellite for the WPF but there won't be one this friday.


Anyone ever played in this O8 tournament?


Any info appreciated.

I have played it twice. In April there were 43 players. They paid 9 and I was the bubble boy. In August there were only 30 players. I was 3rd. The players seemed a mix of regulars and tourists. Some good and some very bad although in Omaha the bad ones can get lucky!


I believe the price is $35 for T500. There is one single/double rebuy for either $20/$30 for T500/T1000. Almost everyone takes the double.

Normally 4-5 tables, mostly weak players, a few decent ones, a few awful ones. I've heard a lot of the FARGOers plan on playing in it, so there might be an extra 2-3 tables.
