I have an opportunity to play in an NL rebuy tournament on Saturday. There is no entry fee, however, only 70% of the registration fees go into the prize pool!
It's $100, and unlimited rebuys are $50. You get T1000 to start, and T1000 with every rebuy.
So, by my gorilla math, this is the equivalent to a $70+30, BUT with only $35 from every rebuy going into the prize pool!
Is this tournament unplayable? If you play, does this format make taking a rebuy a bad idea?
