Party 5/10

UTG folds, 2 calls, SB completes, I check in the BB with KQo.

Flop: [Kh Ac Td] checked through.

Turn: [2d] SB checks, I bet, UTG+1 calls, 2 fold.

River: [4d] I bet, UTG+1 raises, I call.

How bad is this one? I think I need to learn to make this fold on the end in this smallish pot. Lead the flop? Preflop is ok yeah?

I preffer to raise KQo preflop, It's a winning hand, why not build the pot, you know all the other guys will be calling, but maybe thats just me. I would say yes to the river fold, he's not going to be raising with anything less than top pair here. I am also working on being able to make that river fold.

i don't know. these hands are tough becuase with a flop like that so many hands will call your bet, you'll never know where you're at. still, i'd probably lead the flop and turn, and if i was raised anywhere i'd call and check/fold the next street unimproved. the way the hand actually played out, i'd check call the river.

i dont think its terrible - leading the flop is a plan

i'm tempted to check/call the river because the flush draw was a chunk of my upside when he called the turn - i still beat a 10 which wont bet - hmmm

Raise preflop most of the time.

Lead the flop.

thanks for the comments everyone. i think the only thing i liked about my hand was the river bet. i saw this dude checking behind with all the hands i beat (worse king, ten, PP) but betting with the hands i don't (A, straight, flush). i really should have folded that river, then i think i would have liked my river play.
