Stars 2-4 6 handed. Hero dealt J /images/graemlins/spade.gif J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif in CO.

UTG raises, Hero 3-bets, folds around to UTG who calls.

Flop: A /images/graemlins/heart.gif 8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Check, bet, call.

Turn: 5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Check, bet call.

River Q /images/graemlins/club.gif
Check. Does this guy look like a man beaten by Jacks? Do I bet here or check behind?

definitely check behind... or in other words: where do you see value in betting here? or in other words: what do you think are the odds of him having a smaller pocketpair? or in other words: how good is your read on this guy?

Only read I had on him was that he didn't raise a lot preflop.

I think I made a mistake in value betting the river, when in actuality, he's going to have a Q or better when he does call more than 50% of the time.

If a blank comes on the river, I think I can value bet this though? Then more often than not he'll have a smaller PP, perhaps.

Anyway he flipped over KK and took down the pot.
