How often do you give someone credit for a monster when they limp at 300/600 or 200/400? I'm starting to believe it's correct to always give credit for at least something like QQ/AKs, unless they've shown themselves to be a total idiot so far.

Thoughts?

I dunno, I see bad players limping there a lot, even on bubble situations.

If it's the first limp they've made (or first since the early levels) I tend to think they've got a monster and are trying to play tricky with it. I've seen it too many times not to think so.

If you search back through my posts, there's one from a week or two ago where the button limped and I completed TT from the small blind, then folded the overpair to his raise.

Pretty often.

by the time the blinds are that big you are a good chance to know if they are likely trapping or not

i notice if they have limped before - a lot of big stacks who are chooks like to see a lot of hands because they figure they can

having recently switched to this game for a while i have found myself occasionally pushing when the blinds are 25/50, or 50/100 with something like A10o after a stupid biggish stack who is seeing 50%+ has limped and someone over limps
