I am a 3BB player at 3/6 and 5/10, yet my PT stats never get above about 52-53% for Won % at SD. It's a very large sample size, so that's what I play at I guess.

Doesn't that seem like a super crummy % to you all though? Or am I nuts? /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Over my last 14k hands, where I've been running good (but not like amazingly or anything), mine is 51.8%.

Whew, thanks. I was getting worried that I was just on an exceptionally long and lucky run of winning very large pots and losing very small ones (though it never feels that way!).

Hey Lansing,

Mine's 58-59% now. My number in this category is way higher than most who post here, so I'm not necessarily endorsing you aim for it. It's just how much meta-game works out. The style endorsed by the SS and Mid-stakes forum will put you in the low 50's it seems, since that's where most everybody is there. I just thought I'd post mine 'cause I often get quoted as having a W$SD just over 60%. It used to be 60-61%, but I've made some slight adjustments for various reasons that have brought it down just a tidge, so now it's just under 60.

Can I ask what (general) part of your game accounts for this rather large difference? What do you do differently?

Mine is at 46.9% (PP .5/1). Am I not folding enough?

We can't really say, as this is not enough information. I will say this though, a great player will fold the river if he is beat. No point in "keeping someone honest".

This may be a silly question, but how do you know? There are two things that would raise the number, folding more postflop or playing much fewer hands preflop. Or both.

Yes I realize GoT is an awfully good player and makes tons of laydowns in the right spots. I guess what I was asking about is if there are some basic situations where GoT folds where others don't. Like when he's raised on the turn with TPTK or whatever (just an example)

My current PT shows 55% overall. This is at mostly 2/4 with a touch of 1/2 and 3/6.

A very aggressive player can have a won $ at showdown pct under 50 if they are winning a lot of pots uncontested too. (you'd have to be vpip upper 20's, went to showdown upper 30's, and winning 40% of the times you see a flop though to be a consistent winner if you are only winning 45-48% of showdowns however, I believe)
