PS $3-6(10 handed)
Dealt to Hero in MP1 A /images/graemlins/heart.gif4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

Preflop: fold,EP calls,Hero calls,MP2 raises,6folds,EP calls,Hero calls. OMG I am being punished for my limp.

*** FLOP(7SB) *** K /images/graemlins/heart.gif8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
EP checks,Hero checks,MP2 bets,EP calls,Hero raises,MP2 calls,EP calls.

*** TURN(6.5BB) *** K /images/graemlins/heart.gif8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif J /images/graemlins/club.gif
EP checks,Hero...

My read is that MP2 is tight/passive. EP is decent/aggressive.

Question: is it always correct to bet this turn?
(This feels like a stupid question.)

What if hero held A /images/graemlins/heart.gif5 /images/graemlins/heart.gif?

It's rarely correct to always do anything.

Here I am checking this turn. Against 2 opponents I highly doubt you are taking this pot with a bet and you'd need three players to call for you bet to be for value. Since you only have 2 and you don't really want to get raised I'm checking.

Heads up I'm betting, and with 3+ players I'm betting, but not with 2.

I would have thrown that hand away pre-flop.

This is an easy limp at 3/6 in MP after a limper.
