View Full Version : NL/PL Bankroll Requirements and BB/100 win rate

I am aware from what I have read and resarched and also from table talk in general I should expect the following :

10 BB/100 hand win rate is similar to 2.5 BB/100 at Limit
Bankroll in NL/PL should be 10 - 20 buyins

Here is my question, I am playing the party poker site where buyins are actually 50 BB's (which I like, promotes action) rather then the typical 100 BB buyin at most on-line sites.

Should I half the BB/100 hand win rate and double the bankroll requirements to 20 - 40 Buyins to sustain swings?

It makes sense I would want 20 buyins at least for NL/PL games at Party, but the BB/100 hand is what is throwing me off more then anything. Should I consider half the normal win rate as acceptable, or should I keep it the same given the fact that they are promoting action games by decreasing the maximum buyin amount which makes poor players play more agressively.

Any thoughts or opinions on this would be appreciated.
