I realize there's a lot of variables encompassed in this one, but I was just curious . . . plus, I assume poll responses are anonymous, for all those who don't want to brag/fess up. Thanks to all who participate. I will wait so I am not the first response in my own thread. Results will be available when the poll closes in three days.

You cannot view poll results until the poll is over.

I'm surprised that you didn't put any negative numbers on the poll. I guess everyone makes money playing SNG's.

If I played 900 $215 SNGs a month I could make $5,106 a month with only a 2.5% ROI.

Is that playing pretty well?

so someone who makes 99 dollars a month is catagorised as being the same as someone who loses 1000 dollars a month.

do you see my point?

No one, and I mean NO ONE, will admit to losing money at S&G's (or cash games for that matter) on this site, and probably on any other.

We are ALL winners here.

Funny thing about that.... I dont think I have ever seen anyone post an ROI lower than 10%, and certainly no one ever comes on and says "hey, I just lost 790 bucks over my last 100 SNGs, how am I doing?"

Can you elucidate?

I have a 100 game sample of SNGs where I made -$6000 how am I doing?

You need to call all-ins more. And limp your aces and kings preflop. That should fix it.

I don't think this poll is really going to answer your question. Everyone plays at different buy-ins and some play more than others. Myself I'm lucky if I can fit in 3-5 games a night. So obviously I would be earning less than someone who plays 10-20 a day, even if I won at a higher percentage. A better poll might be, what is your ROI?

I just started playing SNGs regularly, and I'm about even after ~80 games. 913 out and 906 in right now. I'm quite happy, as long as I don't lose money learning the game.

actually, i created a post about my 6% roi in the 200s. i was wondering if this was decent, and i have been more pleased with it than i was previously. i think an roi of 5-10% in the 200s is actually quite good.
