Just curious if anyone out there is using these chips. I was thinking of a set of these for my home tourney because of the higher denominations. Seems like a decent set for the price (not neccessarily getting them from Ebay). What is the feel like, it says they are 10g like casino chips? Also, I notice they sell a regular and "pro" sets of these, the only difference i can see is the stripes. Your comments are appreciated.

I just have a problem that the guy spells poker as "pocker".

That said, I do not have a set of these. Just bought a set of Martini Club's from Nevada Jacks and I am very pleased with them.

Would suggest you get a sample before buying anything. That way you can judge for yourself - everyone's tastes are different. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

The description this seller is using is all false. I have a sample of these. They are not high end chips or real casino chips. They are made of a "composite resin", which in my opinion feels and sounds more like plastic than anything else. He also says that the labels are not stickers, but they are! These are basically the cheap plastic chips minus the metal insert and with stickers to dress them up. The seller says to beware of chips that feel like toys. Funny thing is that the first thing I thought when I got the sample was that they feel like toys. For the same price you can definitely get chips that feel and sound much more like real chips. Do a search on Ebay for "13 gram casino chips".

These chips look cool but they just lack in feel. The most common place to find these chips is at http://www.pokernstuff.com. However, I ordered a stack of their 13.5g heavy composite chips, which actually cost less. They are identical to your plastic 11.5g chip except for the feel and weight. They have a soft, chalky feel to them, and I think they're great value.

I agree. For a low cost chip, the 13g weighted are very nice.
