I tried searching but couldn't come up with anything. Is ordering Dell product online the only way to get them? Or do some stores carry their products? Thanks.

An additional question: I just noticed on dell.com that the 2001FP monitor is listed at $719 on thier Home & Home Office section, but is only $599 on their Small Business section. Has anyone had any experience doing a "personal" purchase through the Small Business section?

If you buy from the small business area, they'll charge a LOT for shipping and you will probably get taxed even though you may not in the home section. Shipping is free for home customers. The two prices should end up being about the same. Sign in and add the monitor to your cart and have it estimate the total price to find out.

Good suggestion. Thanks.

I got mine through small business. They had a no shipping fee deal going at the time. There was tax, but there may be tax on it in any case (not sure why there wouldn't be). Anyway, if you choose to go that way, there were no hassles involved. I just put my name in the Company Name spot, and it worked fine.

I just got my NEC LCD200VX (http://www.necmitsubishi.com/products/ProductDetail.cfm?Product=356&ClassificationFamily =1&Classification=1) today. Excellent monitor.

I won't purchase anything DELL as they have about the worst customer service and tech support in the industry. They make PartyPoker support look like gods.

TheNerds.net (http://www.thenerds.net/productpage.asp?un=214319&s=1) has the NEC for $717

edit: I don't have anything to do with NEC or TheNerds.net

1600x1200 is only supported at a refresh rate of 60 hz though. That's fairly tough on the eyes.

I understand what you're saying on the technical support end though.

How so? The discussion is about TFT monitor(s).

And the refresh rate of the DELL? Oh it's 60Hz too. Hmmm.
