View Full Version : Can I play online poker from my hotel room?
So I'm in Florida on business right now, and I'm wondering if I can safely play from my laptop. I'm hooked up through the hotel's internet connection, so there's no further risk of hackers, right (as opposed to an unsecured wireless connection)?
What about logging in from a different IP address? I've heard that some poker sites flag that and lock up the account.

Theres no way that they could lock up your account if you log on with a different ip. So many people connect to the internet through a 56k modem, and they get a different ip every time they log on (which is called a dynamic ip). So no worries.

As long as you are not logging on from a third world country where credit card fraud is rampant, you will no problems.
