Hello everyone. Lately I have been on the bad beat run from fish. Pulling my hair out at the insane draws people pull out on me. So here are hands I played that I have questions on. Results for all of them are in another post. If I make a comment it does not mean that hand was made by the fish. It means my thoughts at the moment. At the time these hands started happening I had already had a seriers of bad beats I had to fold, people drawing out on 2-5 outers on me. But none of there were heads up and there were other callers so I knew I had to toss my hand away.

HAND #1 --- Raise on the turn???? if he really had 2 pair he would check raise me right?

HAND #2 --- So many people bet at me on the flop with nothing or draws a lot of the time heads up. What am I suppose to do in these kind of cases. If a player flopped trips why doesnt he check raise me?

At this point I was so frustrated with the fish out drawing me on almost every hand I played that I couldnt beleive it happened again.

When you post 11 hands in one thread, it makes it really difficult to provide helpful responses. Hand #1, I just call down against a loose-passive.

Hand #2, I don't get your play at all. You've got overcards and no draws on a draw-friendly board.

That's about as far as I got. Single out the hands you think are really interesting and post them.

hand 1: i raise the turn.

hand 2: i call the flop raise, fold the turn unimproved.

hand 3: i bet the flop, then fold to any bets later on, checking behind when opponent gives me the option.

hand 4: bet the turn.

hand 5: BB's cold call on the flop is disturbing. i check behind on the river here.

hand 6: i play the same usually.

hand 7: i think maybe just calling down the whole way may be the best here, though i frequently play as you did. these are the toughest for me, as i'm sure for most.

hand 8: i 3-bet preflop every time here to try and get this HU. not sure why you would just call here, myself. yeah, with several limpers and out of position, maybe, but not when you have a chance to isolate a raisor.

hand 9: against a read like that, i probably play the same here. otherwise, i'm leading out on the flop here, and playing the rest depends on the action to follow. easy to let this go, though.

hand 10: bet the turn, call a raise. fold the river unless your draw comes in.

hand 11: i raise preflop every time here, then bet out and see what happens.

hand 12: check and fold. do you play gutshots like this all the time?

cheers!

Yeah... 12 hands. A bit much.... (about 11 too much) and only a couple hands of interest.

I have short attention span.

Hand 1: Raise turn
Hand 2: Fold to flop raise. Pot is small. Flop is dangerous to a c/r. He could have an 8 and that still beats you.
Hand 3: OK.
Hand 4: Raise pf. Bet turn, fold to a c/r.
Hand 5: good.
Hand 6: Check behind on turn.
Hand 7: Fine.
Hand 8: Raise pf. Bet flop.
Hand 9: Either bet out on flop or fold to a bet.
Hand 10: Bet turn.
Hand 11: Raise pf.
Hand 12: fold on flop.

If you want responses, or responses with reasons, post just one hand at a time, and please pick interesting hands so we can get the converter back online.

Posts like this are why we are suffering here.

Thanks for the advise. The last hand I knew the player and knew he had nothing, he gave no thought to the flop bet which to me meant "bluff". Usually he folds on the turn to strength. When he called the turn I figured I was done. In my opinion I had 10 outs, any 7, T, or the 8. He called me down with Ace high only.

Thanks for the input I analyzed all your input. Really helped.

Hand 7, where are you getting ten outs? I see four clean outs on the turn, and any King chops. Small pot, I fold to the checkraise unless BB's a LAG.
