In my experience against super-passive players at live games, a check-raise followed by a check/3-bet in this hand means someone has an 8. On the other hand, players who are passive do sometimes raise with their pocket overpairs.

All the same, against a check-raise and a check-reraise, I fold the flop too.

You posting for a pat on the back? You're obviously not happy to see you made Kings full but super passive opponents don't 3-bet with an 8 or 55 so the fold is obviously fine. The fact it's spread limit and there's no reason for them to wait till the turn makes this all the simplier.
