View Full Version : Break out the Straitjackets

The hand shown below was recently played online (I have altered all identifying information). Even before this hand played out, it was apparent that Zippy was a full blown maniac and Anne was a junior maniac who was prone to making nearly hopeless bluff-raises (and reraises) on the expensive streets.

So, what do you think of Hero's play?

In a game like this, I would employ my "PartyPooper" strategy, one element of which is tight and usually passive preflop play. Against such lunatics, however, I wonder how tight is too tight? If you were utg (2 off the button) in this game, which of the following hands would you muck: QJ, KT, KJ, AT, AJ, 98s, T8s, 33?
