to me this one's really easy: sum 41's "we're all to blame"

Take everything left from me. (All to blame)
How can we still succeed, taking what we don't need?
Telling lies, alibis, selling all the hate that we breed.
Supersize our tragedy!
(You can’t defy me, or justify greed!)
Bought in the land of the free!
(The free!)

And we're all too blame,
We've gone too far,
From pride to shame,
We're trying so hard,
We're dying in vain,
We're hopelessly blissful and blind
To all we are,
We want it all with no sacrifice!

Realize we spend our lives living in a culture of fear.
Stand to salute; say thanks to the man of the year.
How did we all come to this?
(You can’t defy me, or justify greed!)
It's greed that we just can't resist!
(Resist!)

And we're all too blame,
We've gone too far,
From pride to shame,
We're trying so hard,
We're dying in vain,
We're hopelessly blissful and blind
To all we are,
We want it all.
Everyone wants it all with no sacrifice!

Tell me now, what have we done? We don't know.
I can't allow what is being done to tear it down,
Believe me now, we don't know just what
With our backs against the wall.

And now we're all too blame,
We've gone too far,
From pride to shame,
We're hopelessly blissful and blind
When all we need
Is something true
I do believe,
Don't we all?
Everyone, everyone,
We will fall.

'Cause we're all to blame
We've gone too far,
From pride to shame,
We're trying so hard,
We're dying in vain,
We want it all,
Everyone, don't we all?

At any given time, this is usually the correct response.

Hoobastanks - the Reason
not a bad song on its own, but it gets really annoying when it gets played on every radio station from rock to alternative, to soft rock, to top 40, etc.

On a similar "crappy sap song" note.... britney spears' everytime makes me want to choke myself when I hear it.

They put on an amazing concert. Blast me if you must, but it was a good time.

I am going to go with that Maroon 5 song. That band sucks. The worst part is that they are from San Diego, which means I have to hear them and hear about them even more than most probably. I also can't stand that Hoobastank band (another San Diego band).

Anything by Creed. Some rock stations play this garbage.

As for stuff that gets played on radio stations I don't listen to, I'm sure some boy band or rap/r&b song would get the nod.

I don't mind Papa Roach or Hoobastank, actually. Neither are in my top 20 favorite bands or anything, but I can think of much worse things to listen to.

Papa Roach puts out very catchy songs that sound good at first, but the more you listen to them the more shallow and cliche they become.

[/ QUOTE ]very good answer. Seriously, who listens to radio anymore? I stopped listening to it a year or so ago, especially now that I have a six disc in my car. The only time I hear new music is on MTV2 and thank god that isn't all pop bullshit. The only time I buy new cds now is either through word of mouth or by recommendations from various forums I go to. Radio truely sucks.

The main reason for this is that 90% of all radio stations are owned by 5 or 6 different companies.

the reason to listen to the radio is not for music, that is for sure.

[/ QUOTE ]HUH? what reason is there then? Talk radio is even worse. Radio is the biggest piece of crap in the 21st century. Network TV is a close second. All the free [censored] is full of ads which no one wants to watch/hear. Which amazes me because less and less people listen to the radio and watch network television.

Yet, you just made a poll for the best Journey songs. In the words of our president - you're a flip-flopper.
