For the record, i didnt have him pegged as loose passive, but merely loose. I hadnt really seen anything that i could catorgorize his aggression with. I was also focusing mostly on downloading music at the time, which is why im sure i missed it.

Not a big fan of the turn cap. Once I was raised I'd probably call it down, especially against a player I don't know.

If he had check-raised the turn, would you have 3-bet?

what were you thinking on the turn?

probably, but that doesnt make it correct. With the raise or c/r im just putting him on a nine, which is probably a bad read. Upon further reflection, the cap was clearly out of line. I still think the initial raise was ok, but the 3-bet almost seems to be screaming strength out the wazoo.

Wouldnt your standard loose player raise or checkraise here with any nine, or even TT?

I wasnt?

Seriously, on the initial raise, i thought that the portion of hands i was ahead of was much larger than the portion i was behind. The cap was straight error. Do you not raise this at all?

The turn raise seems OK against loose players with the exception of the most passive ones. Capping is self-destructive unless he's virtually a maniac.
