# lb box of spaghetti spilled on the floor before i was going to cook a portion of it.

1. Toss the lot
2. save the lot

Instead i cooked some of it and threw the rest out.
The best of both worlds...

You have to use the 5 second rule. If you can pick it up in 5 seconds, you can eat it.

That sounds like the worst of both worlds to me. Just throw it away, spaghetti is cheap.

hmm, do you have any pets that shed all over? Do you often get drunk and pee or barf on the floor? These are important factors as well.

Eat it.

It's when it's cookoed and hits the floor that you throw it out.

No pets- and very little drinking nowadays. I am not sure what happened to me but i have seriously lost interest in getting drunk.
I think i'm depressed

It's perfectly fine to eat, as long as the floor isn't disgusting. There's no way that it's worth your time to put it back in a container to save, because spaghetti is cheap. I'd throw the whole lot away out of convienience if I had another package.
