I'm having trouble finding any guidelines regarding bankroll requirements for limit 7 Stud. I don't have Advanced Stud, just Theory of Poker and Advanced Hold 'em.
Can anybody help me out?

Mason Malmuths Poker Essays has some pretty good breakdowns concerning stud . It is divided by limit and player abilitys of OK, Good, and Great. the first one two go over the 300 BB rule is a good 15-30 stud player.

I would say between 200 and 300 big bets is sufficient for a stand alone bank roll for limits 10-20 and under for a Player with a significant true edge at these games.

I use 300 for all games 5-10 and above and 200 for 4-8 and under. My buy ins are around 30BB's if there are tons of chips on the table I go in for 60BB's. At BARGE I go in for 150BB's

YMMV

Thanks. That's close to what I was thinking, but I've been playing on a bit of a short roll. And that was my worry. I think I'll pick Poker Essays up.
