I could care less to be honest. Just though others may enjoy it.

Fry the bastard for all I care.

yeah, well, certainly some people care, otherwise we wouldn't have been bombarded with pictures of Lacey for almost two years. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

MrGo, I believe you mean "couldn't care less" as in you don't care at all.

And he won't be fried, he'll be injected (that's if they decide to kill him of course).

Of course i care. she was found at one of my best sleeper striped bass spots, and only two minutes from where I was living at the time. I couldn't go out there without giving away my secret for a while after that. Now, maybe it will all go away.

How can anyone be found guilty of 1st degree murder for the wife and 2nd degree murder for the unborn child, who's due in a month?

That means he pre-meditated his wife's murder but "accidentally" killed his kid. Doesn't make sense. He had to know she was pregnant, whether he liked it or not, when she's in for 8 months...

Going to retrial.. The jurors were stupid.

yes, he should have got 2 Murders in the first but what difference does this make, they are going to give him the death penalty for the wife.

I think it means he killed Lacy on purpose, but indirectly killed the unborn baby. They would have had to prove that he stabbed the baby to give him 1st degree on that charge.

The "doctrine of double effect" may have come into play. It is the primary intention that counts. He intended to kill his wife. Because he killed his wife, he killed the foetus/baby too.
