Hi X-Files,
Are you going with an inlay? Weren't you thinking of using a celtic knot theme?

The design I am working on is maybe for a future order of Chipco style chips. I ordered the pokerchips.com chips on July 30th. I mainly ordered those because of price. I do not have the money for custom Chipco's right now.

Also, mind posting pics when you get them? I'd love to see what a set of those kind of chips look like.

My chips are on the way. They are in CT now and are supposed to be at my home by Tuesday Nov. 22. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I will post picks when they arrive.
If they arrive Tuesday it will have taken 114 days since I placed my order.
A little over 16 weeks.

I too am deeply offended. Instead of posting pics you should send us all a sample set with your different denominations. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I cant wait to see them

I love the chips. I am only unhappy with the way one of the chips came out.
The Yellow/DG Orange looks like Yellow/Orange or Yellow/Burgandy. I am going to check with them on that chip.

I know the images could be better. I will try with my scanner when I get a chance to set it up.

Nice chips X-files! I like the Green/red chip! What case is that? Did you get it from pokerchips.com also? What's your opinion of the case?

Nice chips - could you post the specific color choices used? As far as the dayglo orange looking more orange/burgandy - when I ordered my chips they told me that they would look like that. Finally, you said you placed your order July 30th!? That's a long time to wait. I finalized my art on Oct 25th for a set of 1000 horsehead molds....they say January...

This is the color breakdown.

White\Arc Yellow
Black\Dayglo Green
Green\Dayglo Pink
Purple\Dayglo Yellow
Yellow\Dayglo Orange

The case is from gamelandsports.com. It is the Elite 700 Poker Chip Case. I woulg give it a 7 out of 10. It seems like it will be a good travel case.

Oh great I was offended before & now I have chip envy /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Nice chips and I like your color choices as is but I guess I'd have to see 'em in person as the color doesn't always match the monitor.

The chips are cool as is but it got me wondering... do you know if they can add inlays down the road? Didn't know if the inlay process is totally seperate.

That's the case I think I'm going with except the 550. The only neg. on it I've read was that the inserts were thin plastic - the example given was "cookie trays". I saw your 7/10 rating just wondering if you had any comments here.

Thanks for posting & cool chips!

700 chips are pretty heavy. I think the handle may not be able to hold the load over time. I will just have to wait and see how it holds up. It does have the following guarantee:

EXCLUSIVE NO-FAULT GUARANTEE

Your fault or our fault, if for ANY reason this case breaks (handle, hinge, lock, etc.), we will replace it absolutely Free of Charge! If you drop it off a cliff, doesn't matter. Just include your "proof of purchase"(copy of auction or invoice) with the case when you return it and we will send you a brand New case. The only cost to you would be the actual shipping charges (both ways). We are confident that you will be happy with this case for years to come.

The chip rows are made of plastic with a sprayed on felt material. It can be rubbed off if wet. The chips fit perfectly in the rows though. I do like the case. I just don’t think it is the perfect case and I do not know if there is such a thing in the travel case arena. I do love the 750 walnut case at 5star deal for a non travel case. I am considering getting one.

I am pretty sure you can not add inlays later. I think they are embedded into the chip somehow.

I have the 550 elite case on the way. I was thinking about getting the 700, but like you said, figured it would be too heavy. I'll post what I think of the 550 when I get it. I have 1000 suits chips on the way. I'll either get a 2nd elite 550 if I like it, or go with something else altogether. I like the cases from pokerchips.com. They seem to have a decent variety.

Only ?... Did you get .50 because you've ordered 700+ chips or because there was no inlays ? If pokerchips.com chips are .50/chip, I'm going to buy some for myself /images/graemlins/wink.gif

That is the price. If you do not want to wait three months I may be selling mine when the Pharaoh’s Paulson group buy gets delivered. I am not sure if I want to keep or sell them yet though.

Too bad there are so much of them I could have been interested in 300 or 500... Then again I still don't know what to get, where to get 'em...
